CC-Switch Tutorial
Switch between multiple API configurations with one click using a graphical tool
CC-Switch is an open-source AI CLI configuration management tool that unifies the management of provider configurations, MCP servers, Skills, and system prompts across the three CLIs: Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini.
Its value: you may be using several sources at once — an official account, GETMODEL, other relay stations, and so on. CC-Switch lets you switch with a single click of the mouse, without manually editing config files every time.
Choose by scenario
Supported tools: Claude Code · Codex
① Download the client
Step one: install the desktop app (Windows / macOS / Linux). Both Claude Code and Codex configuration require completing this first.
② Configure Claude Code
Prerequisite: download the client. Add and enable the GETMODEL provider for Claude Code in CC-Switch.
② Configure Codex
Prerequisite: download the client. Add and enable the GETMODEL provider for Codex in CC-Switch.
Server scenario: CC-Switch CLI
Use this command-line version for SSH remote servers and GUI-less environments. It is independent of the desktop app and does not require downloading the client.
Desktop workflow: first do ① "Download the client", then choose ② "Configure Claude Code" or "Configure Codex" depending on which CLI you want to use. If you use both, do both.
Server scenario: go straight to "CC-Switch CLI"; it is independent of the desktop app.
